Chew Valley Chamber of Commerce (the Chamber) is a 'Not for Profit' Mutual organisation constituted under the rules of the British Chambers of Commerce.  The Chamber exists purely for the mutual benefit of its members and is not in itself operated as a commercial enterprise.

 

Whilst this website contains details of Chamber members in the form of a members directory with a brief promotional biography where submitted by members, the Chamber cannot take any responsibility for the quality of any goods or services proffered by any individual member.

 

Website Content and Usage

 

Whilst the Chamber has taken every reasonable step to ensure that the information contained within this website and published to the Internet is correct and up to date, errors can sometimes occur for which responsibility cannot be accepted.

 

In producing this website we have taken care to avoid any inadvertent unauthorised use of copyright material.  Any such unintentional infringements should be notified to the webmaster and will be corrected as soon as possible.

 

Use of this website and it's content, email correspondence and any online forms within this website are not intended to be binding or confer any mutual contractual responsibilities between ourselves and existing or potential members or the general public.  Whilst every attempt is made to respond to email and online form communications as soon as possible and to comply with requests for further information submitted to us via email and this website, we regret that we are unable to guarantee that this will be the case and we cannot accept any liability in this respect.  In the circumstances, users are requested to telephone, post or fax any urgent communications and requests to us.

The Chamber is exempted from the provisions of the Data Protection Act as being as small not for profit organisation.  The only data held by the Chamber relates to its members who have by virtue of their membership conferred their consent to the promotion and publication of their business contact details.
